Trauma Counselling
Dr Felicity Grace has made an original contribution to trauma recovery and growth. Felicity has nearly 20 years clinical experience working with a wide variety of trauma. She has developed a roadmap for trauma healing.
Her six steps are:
1. Building safety and resourcefulness
2. Feeling resonance
3. Witness and narrative
4. Empowerment and trauma repair
5. Challenge of self-limiting beliefs and self-sabotage
6. Re-organisation of relationships and return of unbroken joy
Dr Felicity Grace uses her extensive trauma training to bring together cognitive therapies and mindfulness, focused psychological strategies and psycho-education, artistic therapies and body psychotherapy – which uses movement, and the senses of hearing and sight and taste and touch to use sound and colour and gesture to access memory and meaning and healing.
